I had some thoughts about last night’s 2022 election, particularly Georgia. So many people have asked, “How could Stacey Abrams lose the Gubernatorial race in Georgia?” Let me explain to you how. Below is the, One Night In Miami scene I referenced in my video. And please note […]

Recently a clip from a Father’s Day sermon titled Real Men Pour In by megachurch pastor TD Jakes has caught backlash on social media. In his sermon, TD Jakes advice to women is to be careful pouring too much into men because men are designed to pour into […]
As we enter June, it is the celebration of Pride Month. Before Pride became a celebration, it started as a protest. June 28, 1969 (MY BIRTHDAY!) marks the start of the Stonewall riots in which the queer community responded to a police raid that began at the Stonewall […]
Thank you, Senator Cory Booker, for reminding not just Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson but many Black women that we are seen, we are heard, and we are worthy.
For 2022 choose your peace. Find your joy. As Black people, we must put boundaries around our joyful moments and protect them at any cost. Do not continue to allow this world to rob you of your joy. You are free to pursue a life of happiness, which doesn’t require White people’s permission. When you pursue something, you chase after it. In the year of 20-I -WISH-A-MUTHAFUCKA-WOULD-20, I ain’t explaining ONE THING to ANY White person with a “Let-Me-Speak-To-The-Manager” Haircut! When it comes to my life and the way I move throughout the world, I AM THE FUCKING MANAGER!
Let me be clear, in the words of our great ancestors, “YOU GOT BLACK FOLKS FUCKED UP!”
Let me be clear in the Year of Corona since this seems like a difficult concept for some people to comprehend, when I say Black, I mean Black. You will NEVER have to wonder, “Does Hannah mean all people?” The answer is an unequivocal no. If I meant all people, I would have said all people. I said EXACTLY what I meant to say. I do not need any White person (or non-Black person) to come behind me attempting to correct my language.
