When I was young, I used to play Monopoly. It was one of my favorite games, and I learned after playing a few times that while players kept rolling the dice hoping to land on Boardwalk and Park Place, I was better suited going after real estate that people didn’t value. I would start buying up the railroads and low-income property because I reasoned the odds of someone landing on Boardwalk or Park Place was not likely but the odds of them landing on a property that I owned was high.  My paper money payout would be even greater if I possessed a monopoly.

People underestimate the power of having a monopoly. Especially a monopoly they don’t see value in.

And that is exactly what Black Men have in the NBA and NFL. Black men have a monopoly in those sports where people refuse to admit their  value.

And even better than just a monopoly, when it comes to the NBA and NFL, Black men own Boardwalk and Park Place. As a matter of fact, they practically own the whole damn board.

The NFL is comprised of approximately 70% Black men.

The NBA is comprised of approximately 75% Black men.

In 2014,  the  NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell earned $34.1 million.  Goodell’s net worth is 75 million dollars.

The NBA Commissioner, Adam Silva’s salary is $10 million per year. Former NBA Commissioner, David Stern’s salary was 23 million per year, and his net worth is 135 million.

The NBA and NFL organizations are worth billions of dollars.

Since the beginning of time, Black men have made White men rich.

Without Black men, THERE IS NO NBA and NFL. The NBA and NFL would cease to exist. If you think I am exaggerating because you are stuck in your White feelings of superiority, just imagine your favorite team without any Black players and tell me, what does it look like? BARREN!

Without Black men, there are no multi-million dollar salaries, no Super Bowl, no million dollar commercials. Without Black men, THEY HAVE NOTHING!

And that is what I want Black men in the NBA and NFL to UNDERSTAND! If each of you KNEEL TOGETHER, you CANNOT BE DENIED! Not because they agree with you. Not because they even like you. They will probably still call you an uppity n*gger behind your back, but you are NOT ABOUT TO MESS WITH THEIR MONEY! And some people only get bothered when it involves their coins.

If you do ONE THING IN SOLIDARITY, to disrupt their paycheck, they will give you ANYTHING you want.  KNOW THAT YOU HAVE THE POWER, THE AUTHORITY AND THE RIGHT TO KNEEL FOR JUSTICE! Taking the knee isn’t, nor has it EVER been about patriotism. Colin Kaepernick taking the knee was ALWAYS about racism and police brutality.  Bringing awareness to injustice committed against men that look just like you.

The way to end this issue is for ALL Black athletes to TAKE THE KNEE and the cherry on top would be WHITE PLAYERS KNEELING WITH THEIR TEAMMATES!

BLACK MEN,  YOU HAVE ALL THE POWER!  YOU OWN BOARDWALK AND PARK PLACE!  DO NOT BE AFRAID!  YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR AND EVEN IF YOU ARE AFRAID, TAKE THE KNEE AFRAID!

BLACK MEN, YOU HAVE THE POWER TO DISRUPT AN INDUSTRY! AN INDUSTRY BUILT ON YOUR BACKS! WITHOUT YOU, BLACK MEN, THEY HAVE NOTHING! THEY. HAVE. NOTHING. And you, Black men,  have NOTHING TO LOSE BUT YOUR CHAINS!
