By now you have read the news. Not six damn days out of Black History Month, Housing and Urban Development secretary,  Ben Carson, decided to add to the complete idiocy of this administration by making the following statement, “That’s what America is about. A land of dreams and opportunity. There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less.”

What in the almighty ancestorly fuck is he talking about?

Slaves were immigrants that worked for less? Where do I even begin? Let’s start with the word immigrants. I’m gonna take, ‘Are You A Natural Born Idiot for a 100, Alex?’

Immigrant is defined as a person who migrates to another country, usually for permanent residence. The definition implies that a person has made a CHOICE to come to another country. Africans were not allowed the CHOICE to come to America. Are you insane? What did you think slavery was? Leonardo DiCaprio trying to hitch a ride on the Titanic?

Slavery is not something to trivialize or romanticize. This was not a ride on a Carnival Cruise ship to America.

Then to add insult to injury Ben Carson said they “worked for less”. Less than what? Minimum wage? Why I can hear the slaves now. “Gee, master we sure would enjoy getting paid nothing. I mean it is less than nothing. But I guess nothing is something.” Are you insane?

I have read that Ben Carson is a neurosurgeon. I am starting to doubt that. Seriously. Has anyone checked his credentials? For all we know he got his degree from Trump University.  Better yet, someone needs to make sure he didn’t attend ACME University because he is certainly a cartoon. How does someone who was respected in his field subject himself to becoming a caricature?

According to Wikipedia, Ben Carson was Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland from 1984 until his retirement in 2013.  Ben Carson was a pioneer in neurosurgery,  performing the only successful separation of conjoined twins joined at the back of the head. He pioneered the first successful neurosurgical procedure on a fetus inside the womb, performed the first completely successful separation of type-2 vertical craniopagus twins, developed new methods to treat brain-stem tumors, and revived hemispherectomy techniques for controlling seizures. He became the youngest chief of pediatric neurosurgery in the country at age 33. He has received more than 60 honorary doctorate degrees, dozens of national merit citations, and written over 100 neurosurgical publications. In 2008, he was bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States.

Someone enlighten me. How do you disregard all of your dedication, education and accomplishments to now shuck and jive for an administration and stand before an audience as a Black Man and act as if you were hypnotized by the mother in Get Out?  DUDE IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE WAKE THE FUCK UP AND RUN!!!

You are no longer invited to any cookouts, holiday meals, spades tournaments, impromptu Soul Train Lines, any Black award shows, domino games, nothing!  Your Black Card is REVOKED! PERMANENTLY!
